Frosty morning at the farm
This morning when I called in at the farm to check on the poultry I was greeted by a truly beautiful sight:
The farm this morning
I marvelled at how our vegetables manage to survive the freezing conditions.
Lettuce defrosting in the morning sun in the polytunnel. It freezes hard in the polytunnels at times, yet our salads keep going.
And the frost was really pretty on an Italian Alder tree as I went up to swap out the goose water and electric fence battery.

Isn’t nature incredible?
