So much happening down on the farm!

There has been so much happening down on the farm that I thought I’d gather it all together in one big post!

First of all, lovely CSA member Rose popped in with her new engagement ring:

Rose and Eric met over the leeks in the early days of our community supported agriculture scheme and we are delighted to be growing the flowers for their wedding next year! Congratulations R & E 🙂

Our farm harvest party  last weekend was blessed with lovely weather and a host of friends and neighbours of the farm.

And earlier in the day we welcomed the arrival of the new piglets, eight Gloucester Old Spots. Notice everyone tiptoeing between the spinach rows!

The arrival of the weaners. This really is the kindest and safeest way to carry them :)

and finally here is Richard in his electronics den attempting to mend faulty electric fence equipment. Farming can be high tech!

There is more news in the pipeline… including Tom’s new chicken house on bie wheels, named the “Thunderbird”, not to mention feedback from The Oak Tree Courses.
