In the veg share boxes this week:
- 250g Swiss chard
- 150g flower sprouts (borecole and/or sprouting broccoli)
- 100g salad leaves
- Cauliflower or spring cabbage
- bunch of 8 radishes
- A jar or passata or tomato ketchup from The Oak Tree Preserving Group.
We are now in the hungry gap and will be for a few weeks to come. We have another four jars per share from the preserving group which will help to see us through in the weeks to come, and we also have the annual members’ Wild Food Walk this Saturday 3rd May – details in weekly members’ email, to make the most of the bounty of wild greens while culativated annual veg are scarce.
