The Oak Tree Farm Flowers:  Bouquets, Bunches, Bucketfuls and Events

Our beautiful flowers are available from May/June to October, and each bouquet is unique. We also offer dried flowers at the end of the flowering season, from late October/early November.

Members have the option of buying regular or one-off bouquets. We also offer weekly bunches to local friends, family or neighbours (subject to delivery logistics), for a minimum of 4 bunches.

One-off wrapped bouquets start at £15 if collected from the farm or £20 including delivery (again subject to logistics).

During peak flower season, we also hold our popular flower events (held on weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons). A lovely way to spend time in nature, picking your own flowers and creating a special bouquet to take home. We even provide tea, coffee and a selection of homemade cakes afterwards!! Numbers are limited so booking is essential each time; dates were filled quickly in 2026! We are now planning ahead for the 2027 season and will publish dates here and on our social media during spring.

  • Smaller wrapped bunches are usually available during the season locally at the Rushmere and Kesgrave Saturday markets (first and third Saturdays respectively)

About our flowers

Here at the Oak Tree Community Farm in Rushmere, we have two beautiful flower gardens producing traditional English flowers from May to October.

In line with our vegetable growing, we use no pesticides or fertilisers in growing these beautiful blooms, and they have the added bonus of bringing pollinators into the surrounding vegetable garden.

We grow a range of flowers over from early summer through to autumn, starting with things like Allium, Sweet Rocket, Cornflowers, Antirrhinums, Daisies and Marigolds. Into the summer we usually have Lupins, Euphorbia, Sweet William and Sweet Peas appearing. These are followed by Eryngium and Alchemilla Mollis, Echinops, Foxgloves, Verbena, Achillea, Nigella and Ammi. Then Buddleia, Rudbekia, Sunflowers, Lavender, Larkspur, Panicum and Lychnis. By high summer we have a variety of Dahlias out in force, as well as Japanese Anemones, Cosmos and Crocosmia. If the weather holds some varieties keep flowering well into the autumn but all of the above is very weather dependent. We can’t guarantee certain flowers at particular times of the year!
