News from the farm

Everything is very busy here at The Oak Tree Community Farm. Ryan our head grower is working hard to keep the momentum going with lots of planting continuing for our summer crops (and indeed our winter and next spring crops!).
Our flower gardens are bursting with colour, and we’re into the busy season of creating bunches for local markets, creating bouquets for members and non-members, and some wedding orders too, as well as holding our popular flower events.

A well needed upgrade to our irrigation system has been completed, giving us increasingly vital higher capacity; we certainly have needed it recently as the extreme hot and dry weather has been very challenging.

Our autumn veg boxes are delighting us, with lots of delicious produce, whilst continuing to harvest the last of the amazing summer crops.
